App Privacy Notice (Social Desk)

INSHA Social Desk — App Privacy Notice

Last updated: September 25, 2026. This notice supplements our Privacy Policy and explains how the INSHA Social Desk application (the "App") — our internal tool for managing the brand's own Threads account (@inshalife2024) — handles personal information, including information obtained through the Meta Platforms APIs.

1. What the App is and who uses it

The App is a private, single-user tool operated by INSHA (INS Sales and Solutions FZE LLC, Dubai, UAE) solely to manage its own brand presence on Threads. It is not offered to the public, has no external users, and processes no account other than INSHA's own.

2. Data we receive from Meta platforms and how we use it

Through the Threads API the App receives: (a) INSHA's own profile data, posts, replies, insights and mentions; (b) for the purpose of joining conversations, limited public posts matching keywords INSHA searches (author handle, post text, timestamp, post id). This data is used only to display relevant public conversations to the authorized operator so INSHA can publish a reply of its own. We do not sell this data, do not combine it with customer data from insha.life, do not build profiles of other users, and do not retain search results beyond the working session in which a reply decision is made.

3. Public authority requests for personal data or personal information

INSHA maintains documented policies and processes regarding requests from public authorities (law enforcement, government, or other public bodies) for personal data or personal information of users, which apply to all data we process, including data obtained via platform APIs:

  • Required legality review. Every request from a public authority is reviewed before any disclosure, by our designated responsible person, for legal validity, jurisdiction, scope and proportionality under applicable UAE law and the law under which the request is made. No data is disclosed before this review is completed and documented.
  • Right to challenge unlawful requests. Where a request is considered unlawful, overly broad, or issued without competent authority, we challenge or seek clarification of the request — including through the issuing authority's review mechanisms or competent courts — before complying, and we narrow it to what is legally required.
  • Data minimization. If a valid request must be answered, we disclose only the minimum information necessary to satisfy the specific legal demand, in a scoped and redacted form where possible, and we never volunteer data beyond the request's stated scope.
  • Documentation. We log every public authority request we receive and our handling of it: the requesting body, date and legal basis asserted, the scope requested, the legal reasoning applied during review, the response given, and what (if anything) was disclosed. Logs are kept by the responsible person and reviewed at least annually.
  • Notice. Where legally permitted, we notify affected users of a request before or promptly after disclosure so they may seek protection. Where notice is legally prohibited, the prohibition and its basis are recorded in the log.

4. User rights and deletion

Because the App has no external users, the only personal data it holds from platform APIs is transient working data about public posts, purged after use. Requests to exercise privacy rights over data processed by the App, including deletion requests required by platform terms, can be made to support@insha.life or +971 55 889 6006; we respond within 30 days. Deletion requests received via a platform callback are treated as instructions to delete that subject's data from App systems and logs, except where retention is required by law.

5. Security and transfers

The App runs on INSHA-operated equipment with access limited to one authorized operator, credentials stored encrypted and never shared. Data may be processed in the UAE and in the countries where our hosting and platform providers operate, under the safeguards described in our main Privacy Policy.
